We collect only the information needed to schedule classes, keep parents informed, and keep student accounts secure:

• Parent or guardian details: name, email address, WhatsApp number, and country/time zone.
• Student details: first name, age, current Quran level, learning goals, and attendance history.
• Account data: login email and a securely hashed password managed by our authentication provider.
• Class records: scheduled class times, attendance, teacher notes, and weekly progress reports written by teachers.

We do not collect payment card numbers on this site. If billing is required, it is handled by a separate payment processor and their privacy terms apply.

2. How we use information

• To match your child with a suitable teacher and weekly schedule.
• To send class reminders, attendance updates, and weekly progress reports.
• To keep the parent portal accurate — showing upcoming classes, attendance history, and reports.
• To respond to support requests via WhatsApp or email.
• To improve our service and fix technical issues.

3. Children's privacy

Our service is designed for families. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts on their own. A parent or guardian must create and manage the account. If you believe a child has signed up without parental consent, contact us and we will remove the account.

4. Live classes and third-party tools

Classes are delivered through Zoom. Zoom's own privacy policy and terms of service apply when you join a class. We do not record classes unless we have explicit written consent from the parent or guardian.

We may use WhatsApp to communicate class updates and reminders. WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy apply to those messages.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We only share data with:

• Teachers — only the student name, age, level, and schedule needed to teach the class.
• Platform providers — our hosting and authentication provider (Lovable Cloud) and Zoom, each under their own terms.
• Legal authorities — only if required by applicable law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard protections including TLS encryption for data in transit, password hashing for accounts, and row-level access controls so parents only see their own children's data. These measures help protect information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to the parent portal. We may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. If you stop using the service, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep it for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

9. Platform and shared responsibility

This application is built on Lovable Cloud, which provides hosting, authentication, database, and serverless function infrastructure. Lovable's platform security features support our service, but they do not independently certify our app-specific data handling. We remain responsible for how we collect, use, and share your information.
